Death is a part of life and love is everlasting. This is an emotion that lives long after death. Tami Marie Clark was born to Mary A. Curry-Clark and the late William J. Clark, Sr. on July 4, 1960. She was the second daughter of the Clark family. She was born and reared in Chester, Pennsylvania and graduated from Chester High School.
Tami enjoyed school and was a bright student. She enjoyed various sports and her bubbly personality attracted many classmate friendships. Those who needed a friend, Tami was first in line to accommodate. She was truly a sports enthusiast and this was her father's love as well. When Tami was your friend, you knew it because she would never hesitate to honor the criteria of friendship: confidante, love, dedication, respect, and her time. From the day she was born, she was "special." Her first bout of illness was whooping cough and was admitted to Chester Hospital and placed in an oxygen tent. The nurses adored her and enjoyed putting ribbons in her hair. She was not only a beautiful and personable baby, she was a precious jewel, a diamond and not in the rough as voiced by the lyrics to one Anthony Hamilton's CD about "diamonds in the rough." She was our "diamond." Her spirit glittered like a genuine diamond.
She was truly a straight shooter, reliable without cost. She leaves to mourn her demise, other than all of you, her daughter, Tiffany Dale Clark; her only grandson, Taye'von of Wilmington, Delaware; her mother, who is still with us, Mary A. Curry-Clark; oldest sister, Kimberly Clark of San Francisco, California; oldest brother, William J. Jr. "Little"; youngest brother, Jerry J. Clark of Chester; aunt "Goie" and her first cousin, April, both of Boston, Massachusetts; great-great-aunt Louise Jackson; step grandmother, Helen Curry of Chester, and many other Curry Family members and friends.
