Lawrence Philip Terrell, Sr. was born in Sharon Hill, PA on June 26, 1937. He departed this life on February 20, 2009.

Affectionately known as "Reds", he was the son of the late Ronald S. and Hattie Lester Terrell. Reds married Jean F. (Johnson) Terrell on November 26, 1966.

He was educated in the Lansdowne School system. Reds worked for the General Electric Company and retired after 27 years. Reds took a position as a victim for the Delaware County Community College Emergency Medical Technician program. He loves interacting with the students and staff.

Reds was an avid bowler and loved to golf. He was a member of many bowling leagues, including the Jet Set, the Delco Police and the Monday Niters. For many years he was an active member of the Progressive Golf Club. Reds loved playing cards and many other games. He was also a collector of coins and match-box cars.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years; his children Lawrenc P. (L.P.) Terrell, Jr. (Susan) of Wallingford, and Kemberly Joi Durnell (Sean) of Morton; one granddaughter, Brielle Joi Durnell; brothers Ronald of Darby, Frederick (Angela) of Columbia, MD and Kenneth of Landswonwe; sister Tangerine of Aston; godchildren Ivy Myers of London, England and Jared Bradley of Swarthmore; four aunts and one uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
