Ernest W. Goldsborough, Jr., age 92 of Glen Mills, PA, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the Life Care Hospital in West Chester. Born in St. Michaels, MD, he was the son of the late Ernest W. Goldsborough, Sr., and Madge Miller Goldsborough.
He was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he received his Master of Social Work Degree. During his lifetime he had been employed by the Pennsylvania Prison Society, Graterford Prison, the State of Delaware, and the Family Court System of Delaware. He served in the US Army as a Lieutenant, and as a volunteer on the Board of Directors of Elwyn Institute, Inc.
He is survived by his son Ken E. Goldsborough, sister-in-law Molly Goldsborough, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
