Percy Jackson, Sr. was born to the late Ernest Jackson and Amanda Coles Jackson on June 1, 1921. He departed this life on May 26, 2008 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.
He was educated in the Chatham VA Schools and after school enlisted in the U S Army, serving in World War II.
He migrated to the Chester area where he met and married Pearl Jackson who predeceased him.
He was employed by the Scott Paper Company retiring in 1983.
Mr. Jackson leaves to cherish his memory his children Jonathan Jackson of Philadelphia, Joan (Ernest) Medford of Chester, Daisy Jackson of Harrisburg, a Foster Son John Mitchell of Chester, 2 sisters Helen Nelson of Chatham, VA and Edith Ericson of Waukegan, ILL. Also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
