Elizabeth F. Chambers "Mom Noot" was born on April 15, 1912 to the late Rawleigh & Jennie Coles Fitzgerald. She departed this life on April 25, 2008.
She was one of eighteen children born to her parents and sixteen have preceded her in death.

Mrs. Chamber was educated in the Shockoe School System in Java Virginia. At the age of 14 she became a member of Shockoe Baptist Church serving there faithfully until moving north to Philadelphia.

She met and married the late William Chambers and to this union one daughter Argene (deceased) was born.

She was a woman of many talents. She especially loved to cook and won may awards and prizes for her special dishes.

She worked for several different families and retired after 26 years of service to the Lou & Bea Dallet family.

She later moved to Chester and accepted the responsibility of raising her niece Vivian Jackson.
In 1952 she returned to Philadelphia and attended Antioch Baptist Church where she remained faithful until her health failed. She was cared for by her 3 nieces Margie and Yvonne Fitzgerald both of Chester and Vivian Jackson of Wilmington Delaware.

Her final words of wisdom to us would be "Keep Trusting"
