Mr. James Justice was born to the late Mack and Jennis Mae Justice on July 20, 1932 and departed this life on April 13, 2008.
He was born in Red Jacket, West Virginia where he attended the public schools and graduated from college.
He was employed as a construction worker all of his life and retired from Laborer's Local 413 in 2000.
He joined the Shiloh Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Hardaway where he was amember of the Helping Hand Committee.
"Pope" as he was well known loved sports and old western movies and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.
He was predeceased by his siser Clara Hackett and a nephew Morgan Justice.
He leaves to cherish memory his wife of 28 years Mattie Justice, son Frank Stevenson of Kansas, nephew George Williams, Jr., three step-daughters Saundra Hammond-Stancil, Brenda Hammond Wilson, Kay Frances Hammond, 2 sisters in law Flossie Crippen, and Marilyn Hurdle, brother in law George Hurdle and a host of other relatives and friends.
